摘要 在名山县和蒙顶山管委会工作过多年的我,已经记不清上过多少次蒙顶山了。但每一次上蒙顶山,都被她那满山的苍翠与一身的秀气所深深吸引。 Mt. Mengding is the first mountain en route from the Chengdu Plain to the western Sichuan highland and also the first stopover to ascend the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau from the Sichuan Basin. The mountain has long been known as the 'Home of Divine Tea' as it abounds in famous tea. A legend has it that Wu Lizhen, initial tea grower of the western Han Dynasty grew tea in the mountain, leaving the earliest record of tea growing in history. Mengding tea was always used as tribute to send to the imperial courts every year from the Tang Dynasty to Qing Dynasty spanning over 1000 years. The people of literature and writing of past ages left numerous poems and articles in praise of Mengding tea, inspired by its mellow color and fragrant flavor, thus giving birth to the long-standing tea culture.
