走进四川泸县立石镇,仿佛走进了历史的隧道长廊.这座建于唐宋年间供官方文书传递换马和旅人歇宿的驿站,因场边立有天然巨石而得名,自古就有"上跑泸州,下走重庆,宿于立石"之说.古往今来,这条泸县通往巴渝的要道迎送了数不清的马帮、盐贩、进贡的长队、戍边投宿的将官、赶考的举子、朝廷的钦差……
Entering the ancient town of Lishi, Luxian County, Sichuan Province, a visitor may conjure up the feeling that he has stepped back in a historical tunnel. As early as in the Tang or Song Dynasty, a post station was built in the town. One could imagine that the town saw in and off many caravans, salt traders, garrison troops, scholars rushing for imperial examination, imperial envoys in the period of great prosperity. The Imperial Academy Member's Mansion, the ancient stage in Nanhua Palace, the ancient Erlang Well are famous sites of historic interests, attracting many visitors. Besides, the Yulong (Jade Dragon) Lake, not far away from the town is an ideal destination for relaxation and entertainment.
