摘要
青海湖是丝绸之路、唐蕃古道途经之地,也是古代少数民族纷争割据的地方,无论在古代交通史上,还是民族文化的交流中都留下了不可磨灭的记忆。
The Qinghai Lake, China's largest saltwater lake is in Qinghai Province. The ancient Silk Road and Tangbo Road once passed here. Ancient tribes fought one battle after another to set up their separatist regimes. So, it has left indelible traces either in the history of ancient transportation, or in the historical record of the cultural exchanges among ethnic minorities. Although quite a few people had been to the Qinghai Lake, few of them really have any idea about the sites of historic interest around the lake. We tried to find out the old-time glory created by those ancient nomadic peoples, but only found that those once-prosperous cities of the Han Dynasty were buried in oblivion under withered grass, leaving behind just segments of weathered earthen walls with or without a name, for visitors to pay a visit.
