A Village Named Qiluo

There is a village named Qiluo to the southwest of Tengchong County seat, Yunnan Province. The village with an air of antiquity nestles in fine surroundings. Many years ago, to earn a livelihood, quite a few men had to go out to lead mabang, a train of horses carrying goods, leaving their wives at home. The anxious women often leant on the doors and gazed into the distance, earnestly hoping that their husbands could return home safe and sound. As times slipped by, some of the men made fortune. But no matter how affluent they became, none of them would forget they were from Qiluo. More importantly, Qiluo is a cultural village, where the desire of villagers to study prevails.
