Adong is a Tibetan-inhabited village nestled in a mountain valley. Due to its out-of-the-way location, the village, untraversed remains almost in a primeval state, presents a unique way of life. The villagers have a bright and cheerful disposition. They are good at playing xianzi, a 3-stringed plucked instrument and performing guozhuang dance. The village is enveloped in an atmosphere of Shangri-la.
