阳陵北濒泾水,南越渭河与长安城相望,东临‘泾渭之会’,西与汉高祖长陵接壤。这里地势平缓,土厚水深,物产丰富,交通便利,堪称‘风水宝地’。
Heading west beyond the Yangguan Pass, we traveled through the The Yangling Mausoleum of the Han emperor Jingdi is located in the Weicheng District of Xianyang City, Shaanxi Province. Jingdi, the 4th emperor of the Western Han Dynasty was buried with his queen in this mausoleum. The archeological workers made investigations for nearly 30 years from the 1970s onward by drilling, excavation and research and preliminarily pulled off its mysterious veil. The great scale and complete layout of the mausoleum with large numbers of exquisite burial objects have held the limelight in the archeological circle, afforded people some initial ideas of the unique charm of the Han Dynasty culture and provided rich information on politics, economy and culture in ancient times.
