Kangding County, the capital of the Garze Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Sichuan Province is the birthplace of the well-known Kangding Love Song. The sweet song was recommended by UNESCO to the world as one of the world's 10 most influential folk songs. In the 1990s, NASA launched a man-made satellite, which carried with it the record of I 10 most typical songs worldwide including Kangding Love Song into outer space to look for living beings in space that might understand songs from earth. Under the direction of the love long, the author came to Kangding with a few photographers to tour the inviting mountains and waters as well as the Yala Gully, where the love song was produced and met with many warmhearted and straightforward locals to enquire the reason why Kangding produced such a wonderful song.
