Sustainable Developing Orientation to be Correctly Adhered in Distance Open Education

科学发展观的基本内容是“全面、协调、可持续发展”。可持续发展思想溯源于生态环境保护问题,但并不是单纯的关于或侧重资源与环境的理论与思想,它是一套全球的、综合的、长期的关于人类现在与未来的发展思想与发展战略。高等教育为社会经济服务的属性,应该以可持续发展思想为指导。远程开放教育作为高等教育的一部分,无疑也需要正确把握可持续发展的方向。

Scientific development outlook basically means overall, harmonized and sustainable development. The idea of sustainable development is originated from ecological environmental protection but is not limited in the theory and idea of recourses and environment. It is a set of global, comprehensive and long-term development idea and strategy concerning the present and future human beings. The idea of sustainable should be taken as the guidance for the feature of serving socialist economy by the higher education. Distance education, being a part of the higher education, must be correctly adhered to the direction of sustainable development.
