Excellent in Four Aspects" and Strengthening the Construction of the CPC's Ruling Competence

开展以"思想好、作风好、形象好、能力强"为主要内容的"三好一强"活动,目的是进一步提高党员领导干部的整体素质和执政能力,为社会经济的全面健康协调发展提供可靠的组织领导保障。开展"三好一强"活动与党的十六届四中全会提出的《关于加强党的执政能力建设的决定》精神是完全吻合的。本文论述了开展"三好一强"活动的理论依据及现实要求,加强党的执政能力建设的科学内涵以及开展"三好一强"活动与加强党的执政能力建设的一致性。

Developing 'Excellent in Four Aspects (i.e. thought, style, image, and ability)' activity aims at further enhancing the entire qualities and ruling competences of the leading cadres, providing reliable organized guarantee for the all-around coordinated growth of society and economy. The article expounds the theoretical basis and practical demands of launching this 'Excellent in Four Aspects' activity, the scientific connotation of strengthening the CPC's ruling construction and the consistency between carrying out this activity and strengthening the CPC's ruling construction.
