Safeguarding the Legitimate Rights and Interests of the Police while Enforcing the Law

我国警察在执法过程中,正当执法权益受侵害的现象日趋严重,从表面上看受到侵害的只是民警个人,但实质上侵害活动是对国家法律以及国家执法权威的挑衅。当前侵害警察正当执法权益的行为的成因是复杂的,主要表现为法律保障不力、舆论的误导、执法环境的缺陷和非警务活动的影响等多个方面,因此必须采取切实可行的措施保障警察的正当执法权益。

The phenomenon that the legitimate rights and interests of the police are encroached on is becoming more and more severe. It seems that only policemen's legitimate rights and interests are encroached upon but in fact it is also a provocation to the state law and the law enforcement authority. The reasons why the police's legitimate rights and interests are encroached on are diversified such as inadequate support, deficient environment for the law enforcement and the influence of non-police affairs. Corresponding measures should be taken to safeguard the police's legitimate rights and interests.
