There have existed different opinions about the trade of copyrights for a long time in the theoretical field. These different opinions are based on the “monism' or “dualism' theory of the copyright structure. The potential profits of business activities such as transfers and permissions of copyrights have brought about the occurrence of copyright systems and the business transactions of copyrights. The occurrence and development of the international trade of copyrights have their in-depth social and economic reasons. The rapid development of the international trade of copyrights in Western developed countries indicates that the copyright trade has become a trend of the development of international trades and will play a more important role in the future.
