Based on illustrating the necessity and feasibility of drawing up special law against domestic violence , the article mainly reflects on the law's status ,legislative purpose and basis, scope of application, basie principles as well as the essential elements the law should possess. In addition, the author puts forward some feasibie sug-gestion for formulating such a law.
