苏轼、辛弃疾同属豪放派词人,但苏词在豪放中蕴有清旷之意,较偏于洒脱疏朗,旷达雄放;而辛词则在豪情之外给人以慷慨悲歌,激情飞扬之感。两者相得益彰,共同形成了繁盛而辉煌的豪放词派。
