铀基体中^(237)U208keV γ射线发射率的精确测定

摘要 运用高比放射性177Lu及主要γ射线能量(208.3664keV)与237U208.000keVγ射线的高度近似性,对U样品中208keVγ射线发射率测量中的自吸收效应,进行了校正。通过测量几何的安排,使级联γ射线的合峰效应可忽略。此法可用于高原子序数物质中低能γ射线发射率的测定。 With the availability of 177Lu with highly specific activities and its major γ-ray of 208.3 keV,which is very close to that from 237U(208.000 keV),we developed a simple method to make an accurate correction for severe self-absorption of the 237U γ-ray.Summing effects from cascade γ rays were avoided by careful arrangement of counting geometry that made the effects negligible.This method is feasible for the determinations of emission rates of low energy γ-rays in high Z matrix samples.
