On Sustainable Economic Development of Qinhuangdao in the Post-Olympic Period

秦皇岛作为2008年奥运会协办城市,不可避免地会受"后奥运效应"影响,经济将会在一定时期内处于低迷状态。整合、优化、提升现有的旅游资源,大力发展体育旅游,将秦皇岛打造成国家级体育旅游名城,将是实现后奥运时期秦皇岛经济持续发展的重要途径。

As one of the major cities that had hosted the Olympic Games in 2008,Qinhuangdao will inevitably be affected by the Post-Olympic Effect,which would lead its economy into depression for a certain period of time.To achieve sustainable economic development of Qinhuangdao during the post-Olympic era,the most efficient way is to make full use of the local resources and build Qinhuangdao into a brand city of sport tourism in China.
