摘要
通过概述大学职能的历史演变,评述了当今关于大学"第四职能"的几种观点,如改造社会、技术创新、国际合作、社会批判和引领文化;提出了对大学"第四职能"的讨论,应先解决好概念的界定、统一要求与多样性统一和孕育与新生这三方面的问题。
This paper summarizes the historical development of the university functions and comments on several modern popular views about the fourth function of university,such as reforming society,technical innovation,international co-operation,guiding culture.Thus,it concludes that three questions should be resolved,namely,the definition of concepts,uniform requirements for unity and diversity,and gestation and revitalization.
