唐纳德·巴塞尔姆是美国最重要的后现代主义作家之一。他的作品不论长篇小说还是短篇小说,无不反映后现代主义文学的特征。他善于运用非线性、碎片和拼贴画等手段在语言上大胆地进行实验。本文就其一部中篇小说和几部短篇小说中的语言拼贴风格对其后现代主义观点进行分析。
Donald Barthelme is one of the most important post-modern writers of America.Features of post-modern literature are manifested both in his novels and short stories.He is good at using non-linearity,fragments and collage language to experiment his bold thoughts.This thesis focuses on the post-modern views and analyses the collage features in one of Barthelme s novels and several short stories.
