英汉“恐惧”隐喻对比研究

隐喻本质上是一种认知活动,但同时也蕴含着丰富的文化特征。隐喻在情感的概念化中起着重要作用,情感语言绝大部分是隐喻化的。本文以人类五种基本情感中的"恐惧"为研究对象,采用语言分析法对英汉语中的恐惧隐喻进行系统的对比研究,将相同点归因于英汉恐惧隐喻共有的认知基础,并尝试从文化相对性方面,即英汉两民族不同的地理环境、生活方式、宗教信仰,尤其是中医学相关理论对汉语恐惧隐喻的影响方面探讨其差异的原因。
