浅析英语语音习得中粤方言语音的负迁移作用

语言迁移理论长久以来一直是二语习得研究领域所关注的重要课题。方言对英语语音学习的负迁移作用明显。本文通过对粤方言与英语发音规律的对比研究,分析了粤方言在英语辅音、元音、重音和语调方面的干扰,进而提出在英语教学中可以采取尽量减少母语对英语语音学习负迁移的教学方法。

The hypothesis of language transfer has long been the important part of the studies of the Second Language Acquisition(SLA).English language differs from Yue Dialect in phonetics,which results in difficulty for the native speakers of Yue Dialect in acquisition of English pronunciation.By contrasting of phonetics between English and Yue Dialect,the paper reveals the standard phonemes,thus minimizes negative transfer on English pronunciation acquisition on Cantonese English learners.
