Modernist's Bohemian Temperament——A Close Reading into Matisse's Dance and Music

马蒂斯极为喜欢舞蹈,认为舞蹈是一种惊人的事物:生命与节奏。本文从三方面,即追求以浪漫型艺术为体裁与主题,以强烈的色彩、光等作为舞蹈、音乐主题的表现形式,来表达浪漫情趣和诗的意境,说明马蒂斯《舞蹈》、《音乐》具有现代派的波希米亚情趣。

This paper attempts to approach Matisse s paintings from three perspectives,namely,seeking for romantic art as their themes,employing striking color and light as their form of expressing dance as well as musical motif,thus conveying modernist s romantic temperament and poetic and artistic conception to shed light on the fact that Matisse s Dance and Music possess modernist s Bohemian temperament.
