Kinds of cupola smoke dusts, their source, harmfulness and discharge standards were introduced. Based on the difficulties with cupola dust removal, the classification, advantages and disadvantages of the wet dust removal system and dried dust removal system, which are used quite widely in cupola dust removal process, were described, and the dust removing effect of the bag-type dust-remover was illustrated by giving examples.
