本文是对Levinson工作小组"空间的语法"研究的综观。文章开头简述这项研究的重要性,以及该专家小组的学术研究情况。Levinson等人的主要研究成果发表在S.Svorou的著作之后,但二者有根本的不同:语料的不同及研究途径的不同。本文着重叙述Levinson等人研究的理论成果:其基本观点跟Chomsky学派的观点相左,又与Langacker学派的基本观点不同。在语言与思维的关系问题上,该研究小组也持有独特的观点。
