The proposal of the concept of lifelong education has exerted a profound influence upon further educa- tion in most countries,which is considered as an important step to realize lifelong education and is the duty of high- er vocational institutes.It is,therefore,very important to correctly understand the connotation of lifelong education and thus develop higher vocational education in an all-round way.
