辛亥革命时期于右任创办的《民立报》大力宣传资产阶级民主共和思想,大造舆论拥护孙中山为临时大总统,《民立报》馆还成为革命党人的大本营和指挥中心,它为中国资产阶级民主革命高潮的到来作了舆论、组织准备,功勋卓著。

During Revolution of 1911,Min Li Bao,which was sponsored by Yu Youren,propogated hard the bourgeois democracy and republic thought,and created public opinion greatly in order to support Sun Zhongshan being provisional president.Min Li Bao House became headquarters of the revolutionaries.It did public opinion and organization work for meeting the climax of democratic revolution of the bourgeois in China.In a word,its meritorious service was very great.
