一种测量听觉系统时间分辨率的新方法

摘要 时间分辨率是指听觉系统对声音信号的快速变化做出反应的能力,本文试图找到一种有效的方法测量听力损伤者的时间分辨率,本实验采用“one-up,three-down”(增一,减三)的实验范式来测量被试的GAP觉察阈值。本实验首次使用了在两个时程相同的阈值下GAP相继呈现时的GAP融合的实验方法,该方法比传统的GAP检测方法有更精确的时间分辨率,而两个GAP的时程与它们之间噪声时程的变化相关的现象为进一步研究听觉系统时间灵敏度的机制提供了新的手段。本研究利用这两个方法对双侧耳蜗移植被试及双耳配戴助听器被试进行了检测,进而对其听觉系统的时间分辨能力进行了评估。 Temporal resolution refers to the ability of the auditory system to catch rapid change of sounds,we try to find a measure to detect temporal resolution of the hearing loss. With the 'one-up, three-down' paradigm,we measured gap detection thresholds in 12 subjects, using a new method examining sub-threshold gap summation. The new method showed better sensitivity to temporal processing than the traditional gap detection method. Furthermore, the correlation between the duration of gaps and the noise provides a way to study the mechanism underlying temporal resolution. Both the new and traditional methods were used to measure the temporal-processing ability in a bilateral cochlear implant listener and a bilateral hearing aid listener.
