口语是聋人融入主流社会的催化剂

Spoken language - the catalyst for the deaf to return to the main stream

语言是人们相互沟通的最便利、最快捷、最有效的工具。聋人手语的表达顺序有自己的特点,与汉语的基本语法有一定的差别,因此,即使聋人和健听人都在使用汉 语词语,但也难以交往沟通。口语是书面语的基础。聋校应该在培养聋生形成用口语表达习惯的同时,引导聋生用口语的表达方式去改造手语的表达顺序。只有这样,聋健之间 才能消除隔阂,聋人才能真正融入主流社会。

Language is the most convenient and efficient tool for people to communicate with each other. The sign language has a different grammatical flow from the general Chinese language. It is difficult for the deaf and the healthy-hearing to communicate even if both of them use Chinese. Spoken language is the foundation of writting. What the school for the deaf should do is to train the deaf students to get used to expressing themselves with spoken language, as well as modify their flow according to the pattern of spoken language. Only in this way can the gap between the deaf and the society be narrowed, and hopefully be eliminated at last.
