摘要
Hymes的交际能力理论给中国英语教学带来了一场革命,直接影响到各级各类教学大纲的制订和实施,非英语专业硕士研究生英语教学大纲就是其中一例,它明确提出在教学中要坚持从实际出发、学以致用的原则,培养和提高研究生运用语言的能力。Canale将交际能力细化为四个方面,即语法能力、社会语言能力、篇章能力和策略能力。以此为理论基础,结合研究生历年统考和日常翻译练习中存在的问题,可采取相应的教学对策对学生加以引导。
Hymes' communicative theory has brought a revolution for China's English teaching, which influences the setup and carryout of all stages of English teaching programs. The syllabus for nonEnglish major graduates is such a case. It points out that teaching should abide by the principle of practice so as to improve students' language abilities. The paper, based on the four aspects of communicative competence detailed by Canale--grammar ability, social language ability, discourse ability and strategy ability, analyzes students' translation problems and puts forward relevant teaching strategies.
