The theory of Chinese traditional vocal music has developed into a scientific system through the tireless research work and practice by the singers and theorists over the long years.They have described and explained the training methods and aesthetic standards of vocalization,breathing,resonance,tune,pronunciation and the presentation of sentiments.Therefore,the essence of the theory can be taken as a guide in today's vocal music teaching.
