摘要
本文从分析文化因素对英语听力教学所产生的影响出发 ,在语用学角度上探讨了在传统语言教学中不为人们所重视的文化要素对话语内容和语篇解码所带来的微妙影响。听力教学的任务不能仅局限于听懂语篇的表层意义 ,更应该从目的语的文化背景着眼 ,理解其深层涵义。本文还对听力教学的方法提出了若干建议。
This paper presents a pragmatic study of the delicate effect on the learners' understanding and decoding of the discourse, which is brought forth by lack of cultural background of the target language and was neglected in traditional teaching methodology. The writers then point out that the task of teaching listening comprehension should not confine itself to the literal understanding of the material. Both teachers and students should be encouraged to explore the essence of the discourses that are endowed with cultural implications in cross-cultural communication. Regarding this, some advice has been given on the teaching of listening comprehension as well.
