Artistic conception is the theoretical category of Chinese ancient literature as well as an important criterion of judging the quality of literary works. It expresses the meaning in the way of blending with scenery, combining reality with illusion and unique appreciation of beauty so that it attains perfect realm of aesthetics and art.
