2003年4月27日,国务院总理温家宝签署第375号国务院令,公布《工伤保险条例》。与目前处理工伤赔偿依据的原劳动部的《企业职工工伤保险试行办法》以及一些地方法规相比,《工伤保险条例》扩大了制度适用的范围,解决了工伤保险基金的来源和安全性问题,并对工伤鉴定过程进行了严格规定。
