毛泽东关于利用资本主义的思想与乌托邦有着本质的区别。毛泽东着眼于中国落后的生产力 ,着眼于中国社会的历史现状和中国革命、建设的具体实践 ,深刻地论述了发展资本主义的重要性以及中国资本主义的性质和作用 ,阐明了中国资产阶级的特征 ,并成功地处理了同资产阶级的关系 ,促进了中国革命和建设的伟大胜利。而乌托邦对待资本主义的态度是简单的批判和摈弃。

There is an essential distinction between Mao Tse-tung's thought of utilizing capitalism and Utopianism. Having his eyes on China's backward productive force, its historical situation and the concrete experience of China's revolution and construction, Mao Tse-tung elaborated the importance of developing capitalism, the nature and function of Chinese capitalism and the characteristics of Chinese bourgeoisie. Mao Tse-tung also handled the relationship with the bourgeoisie successfully and promoted the great success of Chinese revolution and construction. While Utopianism's attitude toward capitalism is only critism and rejection.
