摘要
简要阐述了螺旋理论的要点 ,并从螺旋理论的观点出发 ,分析了光学活性有机化合物和非光学活性有机化合物的结构与旋光方向的关系。结果表明 ,由分子的构型或构象可直接推断有机化合物分子的旋光方向及其大小 ;而由旋光方向和大小也可以推断其构型和构象。
This essay demonstrates the main points of the Spiral Theory and analyzes the relationships between structure and rotation of optically active as well as non-optically active organic compounds. The conclusion is arrived that the form and picture of a molecule determine its direction and size of rotation, and vice versa. Furthermore, the spiral structure is the main reason for optical activeness of substance.
