教育的发展由经济发展决定。经济发展水平低 ,是制约民族地区教育发展的主要因素。发展民族地区经济 ,切实增加教育投入 ,是民族地区实现教育现代化的重要途径。

Economic growth plays a great part in developing education. Backwardness in economic growth is one of the main factors to confine educational development in regions inhabited by ethnic groups. Developing economy and increasing investment in education practically is the most effective ways to modernize education in those areas.
