Do You Know I am Waiting for You? Past Times Remembering in Popular Songs——On Theme of Chinese Popular Songs (II)

“怀旧”是中国当代流行歌曲的一大主题。它主要表现在强烈抒发故乡之情和亲友之情两个方面。其生成根源在于当今城市盛行“利益交往”和“非亲身性交往” ,致使人们因出现“认同危机”、“情感危机”而产生失落感与孤独感 ,故而不禁回眸往昔 ,怀想温情 ,以求得心理平衡。

Remembering past times' is one of the subjects in Chinese popular songs, which expresses mainly the missing of one’s hometowns or friends and relatives. Because “ social life for mutual interests” and “non-personal contact” are quite popular in cities, people have problems of “identity” and “emotion” and feel lost and lonely. Thus, they comfort themselves by recalling the good old days.
