Ancient Chinese poets had unique understanding and perception of the significance and value of life. Paying close attention to time, they saw the elapse of life, the predicament of existence, the perplex of destiny and feared death thereform. They questioned life' s significance without stop and searched for their 'spiritual home'. The procedure of this search revealed the different directions of the poets' spiritual destiny.
