The Same Experience and the Different Mentality Compare Liuyong and Sushi's (manjianghong)

柳永的《满江红·暮雨初收》和苏轼的《满江红·寄鄂洲朱使君寿昌》都是词人经历了仕途坎坷之后,对人生的思索。两首词都流露出对归隐的向往,然而,词中意象各异,表现出作者各不相同的出发点和感情色彩:柳永徘徊在对儒家出仕思想的叛逆和顺服的矛盾之中而无力摆脱,其词意象晦瞑暗淡,颇多感伤;儒与道的融合在苏轼饱经风霜的人生道路上发挥着积极的作用,因而他随缘自适,旷达乐观,其词体现出佛陀拈花似的微笑。

Both Liuyong' s 《manjianghong》 and Sushi' s all were written after they experienced misfortune that are full in the thinking of life. The two works express that they wanted to live in privacy. But the different mentality implying in it gives different starting point and emotion color: Liuyong was unable to break away from anguish. Because he hovered between conf liets that is to obey Confucianism to be an official or to oppose it. At the same time, Sushi was contrary to Liuyong, he adjusted to Confucianism and Taoism, and made them play a positive role in his careworn life. So he enjoyed himself in nature and his was broad - minded and optimistic.
