摘要
本文在前人研究的基础上,对明代北京城市人口数额进行了重新考察,指出洪武八年北平府城的人口 数额约有10余万人,到洪熙元年增至80万人以上,而天启元年,北京城市人口已接近120万人。
This paper makes an new research on amount of urban population of Ming Beijing on the basis of achievements in previous studies, and points out: there was more than ten thousand population in urban area of Beijing (then named Beiping) in 1375, the number raised to more than eighty thousand in 1425 , and near to one million and twenty thousand in 1621.
