The report made at the 16th Party Congress clearly shows the direction for our probing into the ruling law of our Party. This is well marked by the following aspects: to know the historic position of the Party is the prerequisite of our probing into its ruling law; to realize the ruling basis of the Party is the core of our probing into its ruling law; to reform the ruling pattern of the Party is the priority of our probing into its ruling law; to enhance the construction of the ruling capability of the Party is the new problem that should be solved in our probing into its ruling law; to make the Party's ruling task clear is the key point of our probing into its ruling law; and finally, to improve the democracy inside the Party itself is also a problem that should be taken into consideration in our probing into its ruling law.
