中国的传记批评法形成于春秋战国时期,自汉魏以来,历经了德行、才性、人格精神、胸襟、思想立场等发展阶段。进入20世纪以后,传记批评法虽在世界范围内受到来自其他批评方法的猛烈攻击而一度被迫隐退,但在中国,却仍是一种重要的批评方法。
