由于中英语言和文化的差异 ,汉语的文化词语有其不同于英语的独特的模式和内涵 ,这种独特性构成了翻译过程中的障碍。本文作者根据汉语音、形、意的三维结构 ,从语音负载词、语形负载词和语义负载词三个层面讨论文化词语的翻译 ,说明翻译文化词语不仅要考虑其字面意义 ,而且要着重准确地传递其文化内涵。在翻译过程中 ,要灵活地综合运用音译、直译、意译、扩译等技巧 ,尽可能将文化词语的深层寓意准确地表达出来。作者在文中对一些文化词语的英译发表了自己的观点。

Due to the linguistic and cultural differences between Chinese and English, the Chinese culture loaded words are of their own unique models and connotations, which form the obstacles in translating. Based on the three levels of Chinese characters, this artrcle mainly deals with the discussion on the translation of the culture loaded words in three aspects: sound loaded words , form loaded words and sense loaded words. The author states that, in translating, not only the denotative meaning should be considered, but also the connotative meaning should be paid more attention to. The translator must flexibly and comprehensively adopt translation skills such as transliteration, literal translation, liberal translation and amplification etc to transfer the connotative meanings of culture loaded words as accurately as possible. The author also expresses her own views on the translation of some Chinese culture loaded words in the article.
