In the course of more than 20 years of reforming and opening up to the outside world,Anhui has attained great construction achievements. But as one big under-developed agricultural province,she has only realized the basic level of being well-off in grneral, still loaded with many problems and difficulties such as the population and employment stresses,a relatively backward economy and the prominent environmental problem which hinder the development. We should be fully aware of the gap and urgency.
