从汉字看先民居住方式兼论方位词“北”的产生

汉字是表意文字,承载着特定的文化信息。若干汉字的形体及意义反映了远古先民们的居住方式:在向阳的山坡 上穴居或依山崖构建简单的棚架。方位词“北”由此产生。

The Chinese character is ideography loaded with specific cultural information. The shapes and meanings of several Chinese characters reflect the dwelling style of our ancestors , namely ,they lived in caves on hill-side or constructed simple and crude shelters,therefore locative 'North 'came into being.
