服饰之学自是朱舜水建筑于彝伦日用之上的实学不可缺少的重要组成部分。朱舜水的服饰文化观是属于传统儒家的,关乎华夷之辨、礼教和日用。重要的是他还在日本积极传播中华的服饰文化,涉及到技术、制度、历史、哲理等层面,有助于日本对中华文化的深入了解。

The study of clothes is an important part of Zhu Shunshui' s practical knowledge for daily use, which is based on human relations. Zhu Shunshui' s view of clothes culture belongs to the traditional Confucian School, concerning the difference on the ethical code and everyday use between the Hans and the Minority. Something more valuable is that he devoted himself to the spreading of traditional Chinese clothes culture in Japan, covering the technology, system, history, philosophy and so on. This does great help for the Japanese to have a further understanding of Chinese culture.
