Basic characteristics of modern hydraulic technique and its application in water turbine control apparatus are summarized. The progress of GYT high oil pressure speed controller series developed by using the technique together with its feature is introduced. The formation of some technical viewpoints is concluded and it is proposed that technological development should be adopted to popularize the application of the new high oil pressure water turbine control apparatus .
