小说《达洛维夫人》展示了现实生活中的人性会体现在具体的权力关系较量中,其中主要包括爱情与婚姻的异性恋与同性恋之间、外部世界与人物内心世界的理性与疯狂之间的权力关系。克拉丽莎和塞普蒂默斯二者命运有着内在的、异曲同工的一致性。通过对该作品中福柯式权力关系的分析,可以揭示人性的堕落以及战争给普通人带来的不幸与毁灭。
