基于语料库的中国英语学习者连接词使用研究

A Corpus-Based Survey of Connector Usage in Chinese EFL Learners’ Writing

本文基于中国英语学习者语料库和勒芬本族语作文语料库,以国际英语语料库英国部分的学术英语子库作为参照,对比分析了中国英语学习者和本族语学生连接词使用情况。结果表明,中国英语学习者和本族语学生都倾向于过度使用某类特定的连接词而偏少使用其它类连接词。另外中国英语学习者语料库五个子库对比分析显示,各组学生连接词过度/偏少使用模式和用词类别趋于一致,非英语专业学生过度使用现象尤为突出;随着英语水平的提高,中国学生连接词使用意识不断加强并逐渐接近学术英语标准。

This paper focuses on connector usage in the writing of Chinese EFL learners and native speakers,and presents results based on the comparison of data from the CLEC and LOCENSS corpora,using a corpus of academic writing component of ICE-GB as the benchmark for identifying patterns of connector usage.
