Analysis on the Cause of Some Cracks in the Cam Shaft of the Automobile Engine

凸轮轴在加工过程中产生裂纹。采用金相观察方法对形成裂纹的原因进行了分析,结果表明,凸轮轴裂纹由夹杂物引起的磨削裂纹。

Some cracks have been found in the cam shaft after manufacturing. This article analyzes the cause of cracks by the metallurgical observation, and indicates the cracks in the cam shaft is caused by the impurity of the material. When machinery the cam shaft, the cracks occurred ,and these cracks are grinding cracks.
