秦中自古帝王州,从西周至唐的1100多年里,先后有13个王朝在西安建都.这些帝王死后,大都埋在渭河两岸的黄土塬上,形成蔚为壮观的帝陵群,其中尤以秦、汉和唐陵规模恢宏,遗存最为丰富.
Guanzhong Plain in Shaanxi Province is a fertile land, where sits Xian, the ancient capital city for 13 dynasties from the Western Zhou to Tang dynasty, spanning over 1100 years, The emperors of these dynasties were mostly buried in the loessial plain along the Weihe River after their death. Thus, there are many ruins of imperial tombs in this area, presenting a splendid sight. Among these, the tombs of the Qin, Han and Tang dynasties are grand in scale and rich in underground relics and artifacts including auite a few state treasures. The countless imperial tombs on the vast Guanzhong Plain function as the museums of the Chinese history.
