Nuohei Village boasts one of the ancient folk dwellings in Kun- ming City,Yunnan Province, These achitectures are of primi- tive simplicity and villagers have retained simple and honest customs.One could find the harmonious relation between ancient culture and natural beauty once in the village.There are Fengshui(geo- mantic omen)pond,Fengshui groves and old walnut tree symbolizing life.Even today,Nuohei villagers are striving to car- ry on their fine tradition despite of the impact of modern civilization,The author has unveiled the remains of ancient cul- ture in the form of slide show with the atti- tude of an anthropologist.
